Confirm the handover scope before booking

Move cleaning is most effective when the team knows whether the property is empty, partly furnished, newly renovated, or still being packed. Confirm bedrooms, bathrooms, balconies, storage rooms, appliances, cabinets, and any landlord or building handover requirements.

Share photos of heavy grease, adhesive, paint spots, renovation dust, or damaged areas. Cleaning can improve dirt and buildup, but it cannot repair worn finishes or pre-existing damage.

Prepare access, electricity, and water

Provide the correct tower or villa details, parking instructions, security approval, lift booking, and a contact person. Water and electricity should remain active until the clean and final inspection are complete.

• Remove personal belongings, rubbish, and packing waste
• Keep keys, access cards, and permits ready
• Confirm working lights, water supply, and air conditioning where possible

Use a room-by-room checklist

Typical priorities include floors, skirting, doors, handles, switches, accessible windows, kitchen surfaces, cabinet interiors, bathroom fixtures, balcony dust, and visible marks on washable surfaces. Appliance interiors and specialist stain or machine work should be listed separately.

For move-in cleaning, identify hygiene-sensitive areas before belongings arrive. For move-out cleaning, leave enough time after the service to inspect the property before returning keys.

Complete a final inspection

Walk through the property while access is still available. Compare the result with the agreed checklist, inspect priority areas in good light, and raise any scope question during handover. Photos can help document the condition for your own records.
